INKOMPASS is Philip Morris International's (PMI) flagship global internship program, meticulously designed to be a transformative self-discovery journey for aspiring talent. It immerses interns in real-world business challenges within a culturally diverse workplace, aligning with PMI's accelerated evolution towards a smoke-free future.

Beyond traditional internships, INKOMPASS offers life-changing opportunities, including commercial graduate accelerator schemes and apprenticeships like the EVOLV UK program or Swiss internships, all crafted to foster portable skills, enhance CVs, and build invaluable global networks.

Styles

A cohesive style system that strengthens brand trust through consistent colour, typography, and imagery. The result: an elegant, approachable interface that communicates reliability and elevates user perception.

Challenges

The previous Inkompass website faced several significant hurdles in attracting and engaging top-tier global talent.

Unclear Value Proposition


The existing site primarily described program mechanics but failed to clearly articulate the compelling benefits for aspiring interns, leaving them uninformed about the program's true value.

Disconnected Career Pathways


The link between the Inkompass program and PMI’s broader, long-term career opportunities was not effectively established, leaving candidates uncertain about their future within the organization.

Dated & Unengaging Design


The website’s aesthetic lacked vibrancy and modern appeal, potentially failing to resonate with a digitally native, younger audience seeking innovative career experiences.

Limited Global Appeal


The website did not adequately showcase PMI’s expansive international presence or the diverse range of global internship opportunities, hindering its reach to a worldwide talent pool.
