UX
I've spent the past few months messing around Framer web, and like many, I too am blown away by the simplicity of it and how incredibly powerful a tool like this is.
1. Copy and paste from Figma
The Figma to Framer plugin lowers the barrier to entry moving from Figma to Framer.
2. Sticky elements
Set content to scroll and other content to stick with a simple position change.
3. Out-of-the-box integrations
Add Lottie animations, Gumroad buttons, icons, MailChimp forms, and more from the insert menu.
4. Feels familiar to programs I already use like Figma
The navigation, look and feel, and shortcuts are intuitive.
5. Templates & patterns ready
Drag and drop common patterns like buttons, pagination, and FAQs.
6. Viewports created & updated magically
Design multiple viewports at once without needing to manage separate designs.
7. Preview & publish - updates reflect in real time
Push updates to the live website in seconds.
8. No code scroll effects
Trigger fade-ins and parallax scrolls without writing code.
9. It's ridiculously affordable
Framer remains cheaper than Squarespace, Wix, and Webflow.
10. Stacks, like auto layout but better
Stacks support wrapping and fractional units, going further than Figma's auto-layout.
